Project: Clean 1

Cleaning

I am spending every extra moment cleaning. The house is nice and relatively new. However, it needs a good cleaning. Bleach, Awesome, Sponges, Plungers, Swiffers…This is my life right now. Wish me luck. Also, if anyone in the Lakeland area needs a very decent table and chairs set, let me know. Other wise it’s off to Goodwill…Soon.

MY (AMAZING) WEEKEND 1

I had a pretty great weekend. Kristin came over for the weekend. We celebrated Valentines early (due to the long distance relationship). We also completed our pre-marital counseling. Special thanks to Dr. Hackett. He kept the marriage counseling fun and interesting. It was really helpful and actually quite enjoyable. After an evening at Carrabba’s, Kristin and I enjoyed the 49th Grammy Awards. I was extremely disappointed with all the Dixie Chicks hoopla…Who cares? Also, I think it’s great that the the Dixie Chicks think that they can wear black and switch the flashy Nashville acoustic out for a black strat and somehow they’re no longer country. Also, someone needs to tell the guitar playing “Chick” that some people do notice that for the span of their career she has always been capoed on some rediculous fret and playing in the key of G…Lame…That’s the extent of my Dixie Chicks rant. Now on to better things. The John Mayer, Corinne Bailey Rae, and John Legend trio was fantastic. These guys are where the talent’s at. I recently picked up Cornne’s album, “Like A Star” after hearing about her on John Mayer’s blog. She is an incredible songwriter and a very impressive guitar player. You should defintely check her out.
