Today was my last Sunday at Victory Chruch @ Lakeside Village. I recently accepted a position in Orlando at Church at the Well. I start leading there on
April 8th (Easter). Lakeside has been a great experience and I have really enjoyed building relationships with such a great team of people. A lot of great things have come from leading at Lakeside.
When I first went to Lakeside nearly a year ago, our drummer left within two weeks. I made a random phone call to a guy I didn’t really know named Drew. Drew and I hit it off immediately and have since become great friends. We were also in dier need of a bassist. I turned to everyone I knew and got nowhere. So, I jumped on my computer. I hopped on Facebook and did a search for “Sotheastern / Bass”. The first name to come up was Josh Swicegood. I called him that evening, intoduced myself, and asked if he could be there the next morning. He showed up [on time] and has been there every week since.
We have had a lot of great times and I will truly miss our first service trips to Burger King. Well guys, here’s to Will Ferrell quotes, A-WOL, Burger King, and Sunday Pie.
Praise Him,
- Jordan

LR: Me, Kristin (vocals), Lauren (violin), Drew (drums), Swicegood (bass),
Hanke (Sound), Scott (Electric)

Hey — the senior class will be in or around Orlando on May 20th…send me info and I want to see if Mrs. Mason will let us go to a service of yours….
No lie, Sunday Pie (actually Sundae but who cares) is the single greatest thing since that great thing after sliced bread.
