A Very Rippy Christmas

rippy rippy

Last Thursday, Kristin and I hosted our first Christmas party. We dubbed the evening, “A Very Rippy Christmas”. The evening included tastetacular Christmas cookies, chips and dip, and the big hit of the evening…pigs in a blanket…Kristin did not believe that pigs in blankets were such a good idea and even went so far as to suggest a two to one ratio. Two pigs in a blanket to every one guest. I, knowing the popularity of the pig in the blanket, went with a more generous six to one ration. Needless to say, the pigs in blankets were gone in less than five minutes. The other big hit of the evening? Catch phrase.

Misty…I’m gonna’ need you to write all of the people that you sent Christmas cards to, and see if they can send you those nice envelopes back…you are undeserving. and ungrateful.

dont you worry your pretty little face… inside of each christmas card, i put in bold letters “PLEASE SEND ALL DONATIONS TO THE RIPPY FAM FOR THE NICE ENVELOPES”. i figured you would need the extra cash for parking tickets & $50 abercrombie t-shirts.

let’s keep my shopping/parking habits out of this…also, did you put our old address or new? i would hate all of those donations to come here after we’re gone.
