10 Things You May Not Know

  1. I don’t sleep with a pillow. I’ve unsuccessfully tried to do so on several occasions, it just never works. I’ll probably have back problems in my old age.
  2. Kristin and I got married on a Sunday. The place we wanted wasn’t available on Saturday so it was either Sunday or two months later. We went with Sunday.
  3. I love pads of paper. I have always been a big fan of office supplies, but when it comes to pads of paper I can’t be stopped.
  4. I love pizza. No seriously, I could eat it every single day and not think twice about it. Especially Il Panificio here in Sarasota.
  5. I prefer baked B-B-Q Lays chips. Anyone that know me knows that it’s not because I’m health conscious. For some reason I just appreciate the extra-crunchy nature of this delightful treat.
  6. I eat everything plain. No really. Everything. Hamburgers, Hot dogs, subs…Plain. Plain. Plain. Lately I have ventured into the world of pickles and ketchup on hamburgers, but that’s about the extent of my condiment dealings.
  7. I love movies. Kristin and I go to and or rent movies multiple times a week. I love movies. I always have. I particularly enjoy going to the movies. Sometimes I’ll go see a movie that I know nothing about just because I’m in a “movie mood”.
  8. I love reading. I’m a huge reader. I try to read at least two books a month. I also try to vary what I read (fiction, non, biography, Christian, non, etc.).
  9. I am a night owl. I never go to bed early. I usually hit the hay by 1 or 2am at the absolute earliest. I love the night time.
  10. I’m a talk radio fan. Big time. Any kind of talk radio and I’m in. Especially political. Also financial. Gotta’ love that Dave Ramsey.

I had dream last night that i had the ability to read extremely long books (Like Moby reDickulously long books) in a matter of minutes. It was great.

I am also the fan of the reading and the late night and the talk radio. I would have to differ on the paper pad and non-pillowage. The others are simply variable.

… Where debt is dumb, cash is king, and the paid-off home mortgage has taken the place of the BMW as the status symbol of choice!

Sounds like we are exactly alike, except:

    1.) I sleep with a pillow…but a really soft feather one. Think…the pillows at the farm. :)

2.) I am neither married to Kristin nor did I get married on a Sunday.

6.) I’m not an all-plain person, but I am told I am pretty boring when it comes to that kind of thing.

Oh, and Baked Lays destroy their regular counterpart. There’s nothing better than an Italian Sub from Firehouse Subs with a bag of BBQ Baked Lays and a Dr. Pepper. :)

    Agreed…Baked.

I honestly think of you every time I see a really nice pad of paper…I remember getting you paper for Christmas almost every year it seems.

And I remember you eating it.

Is there a chance you are my life double? I love almost all the same things…except I’m not a plain person…dry sandwiches YUCK and it goes w/o saying that I am not married to Kristin and didn’t get married to anyone on a Sunday.

I also have a vivid memory of you LOVING the waffle. Maybe you grew out of that?

Just ate at Waffle House on Monday. ‘Twas amazing.

    Waffle House is BEYOND amazing.

  12. Chris on May 29th, 2008

Waffle house is like that little slice of Heaven you find while helping disabled children on a Friday afternoon. No, its not nearly as fun as getting trashed with everyone else at da club, but you will show them when you are out and about at 8 am on Saturday morning. Slackers, wasting their day away. Anyways… I like waffles too.

  13. Kristin on May 29th, 2008

Wow Chris…overwhelming. However I do think that Waffle House has wonderful Breakfast and horrible atmosphere. It does create memories though.

If you insult the atmosphere of Waffle House, Kristin, you insult the very nature of the food. If I wanted high-end dining I would be somewhere sophisticated like Denny’s or IHOP. I go to Waffle House because it is the working man’s place and an atmosphere for the incarnational gospel to be at work… that or the retro feel.
