Old Churches

I’m in Newburgh, New York leading worship at a conference. I fly out tomorrow morning in time to be back for church on Saturday night.  It’s been an experience so far to say the least. More on that in posts to come.

One thing I really enjoy about New England – old churches. There are tons of old cathedrals on every street corner.  I love old churches. Not too many that I know of in Florida.

We have talked about how cool it would be for someone to buy an old cathedral and set it up to do post-modern services within. I would def attend.

Yes we have – that would be quite enjoyable.

I love old churches. They are fantastic.

I love old, historic buildings in general.

Historic buildings rock. Especially the ones that are actually still old on the inside as well. Don’t get me wrong, I love the modern renovated stuff inside of the classic shell but it still doesn’t have quite the same effect as that building you know hasn’t changed in a good hundred years.
