Today was a great day at Access…We had several people baptized just prior to our first service. We’ll be telling their stories next week so make sure you come and hear how God has been working in and through the people of Access.
I also just want to say that we are blessed with an amazing tech team at Access. Today during our first service we experienced an equipment failure that produced some unwanted noise and ultimately forced us to cut worship a little bit short. It’s unfortunate that anytime something like this happens the tech guys generally get the brunt of the complaints and or nasty looks. It’s always good to remember that they are working with cables, computers, and electronics and sometimes those things just break. Our tech team is awesome. The end.
Finally, come to the night of worship at my house this Wednesday. You won’t regret it. Oh and Chris Scott wins the award for epic drink-spill of the day. Have a look.
I totally agree about the tech issues, people get so accustomed to everything working and us blending into the background, that when something has a failure, everyone looks at us as if we just rugby punted a puppy across the room. I think it is extremely admirable that you come to the defense of your team in this manner. I was once told by a pastor, If you are a good tech guy, people will appreciate you, if you are a very good tech guy, nobody will know who you are. Glad to hear that things are going amazing for you guys at Access. If I ever get a Sunday off, I will have to come check out what you guys are doing. Is the Wddnesday thing open to anyone? I am off and may come if it is okay with you.
Hey man! Yep…As you know, if you do this long enough you will have problems. No matter how good you are. I was at a John Mayer concert last year and the sound tech forgot to un-mute the lead vocal after a really long instrumental piece. Stuff just happens.
