There’s a number of reasons that I’m concerned about this season of 24. We’re over a quarter of the way through “Day 8″ and hardly anything has been blown up, nobody has been aggressively interrogated, Jack seems to be far too concerned with protocol, and they have managed to drag out the same three story lines for seven hours with little-to-no new information each week. I checked my calendar to see if this was a leap year because I’m afraid Fox is going to owe me a day by the end of this season.

I’m a huge 24 fan. Huge. But if Jack doesn’t look less like Harry Potter in the next week or so, I may be done with this show. This season Jack got angry when Renee cut off a guy’s hand. This is the same guy who, in season two, cut off a guys head to gain some street cred. I miss this guy.
