So tonight my sister and I were trying to figure out when the last time a girl won American Idol. So I jumped on to the trusty Wikipedia. When I scrolled down to the current season Wikipedia showed the winner as Crystal Bowersox. Only problem? The results had not been announced yet. Five minutes later they announce the winner – Lee Dewyze. I immediately check Wikipedia…It’s changed.

Kristin’s sister just emailed me this picture of Kristin right after she was born. The similarity is unbelievable. 

UPDATE – My mom sent me a photo of me at birth and it’s a bit of a game changer. Now you’ll just have to decide for yourself who Bella looks like.

Mother’s Day has always been fantastic because I have a fantastic mother. But this year was especially meaningful because it’s the first year I’ve been able to celebrate Kristin as a mom. Kristin has been excited about being a mom for as long as can remember. It’s been amazing to watch her enjoy her first five days of motherhood and I look forward to celebratiting this day with her for many years to come. Happy Mother’s Day!
